Dairy Farm Assistant

We are seeking a committed dairy enthusiast to contribute to the success of our expanded herd, comprising 300 cows on an autumn block calving system. Our new facilities feature a 26:52 parlour with ACR's and milk meters running with Cow Manager and auto segregation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying their livestock skills with the support of the farm, utilizing a well-set-up grazing platform during the season and cubicle housing with self-feeding systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• To work collaboratively with the farming team to achieve high-level stockmanship performance.
• To maintain accurate records of herd health, nutrition, and production.
• To assist in implementing sustainable practices for the herd's welfare and environmental impact.

Requirements:

• A minimum of {min_years} years' experience in dairy farming or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in livestock management, particularly cow handling and breeding.
