Our client is looking for a talented Motion Designer to join our team at Spode Works in Stoke-on-Trent, and help create stunning visual content for our clients.

As a Motion Designer, the candidate will be responsible for conceptualising, designing, and animating motion graphics, visual effects, and 3D animations.

Duties and responsibilities

Work closely with clients and creative teams to conceptualise and storyboard creative ideas for video projects.
Design and create 2D and 3D motion graphics, visual effects, and animations for projection mapping, anamorphic screens, immersive environments, and screen content for events.
Create and edit videos using Adobe After Effects, Blender, Cinema 4D, Unreal and Notch to create high-quality 3D animations and visual effects.
Collaborate with other designers and animators to ensure consistency and high-quality output.
Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques, including AI.
Manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines

Skills and experience

Expertise in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and at least one 3D design package.
Strong design, composition, and typography skills.
Experience in creating 2D and 3D motion graphics, visual effects, and animations.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proven experience in motion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Interest or knowledge in AI and generative content.
Motivated and highly-creative.
Strong team player.
Ability to follow a brief and accurately interpret an approved design
