Motion Designer - Branded Content Initial Fixed-Term Contract Salary: £28k - £38k

We're always on the lookout for talented Motion Designers to join a growing creative team. If you have at least 4 years of experience creating branded content and are passionate about animation, motion graphics, and social media, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Motion Designer to join a creative and dynamic team. You'll be working across a wide range of industries, creating multi-channel content for brands both big and small. As part of the content team, you'll bring ideas to life through motion graphics and animation, producing scroll-stopping content for social platforms.

Please note: We value the collaboration that comes from being in the office together. Initially, all new team members will be required to work in the office 5 days a week, transitioning to a hybrid working model after that. We're happy to discuss this further during the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bring Ideas to Life: Ideate and create motion graphics elements, including text animation, 2D vector animation, and animating logos, all while adhering to brand guidelines.
• End-to-End Design: Manage briefs from concept through to completion, ensuring designs meet deadlines and are on-brand.
• Create Stunning Visuals: Develop style frames and motion graphics that push creative boundaries, integrating text and graphics into compelling animations.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with the creative team to drive innovation and deliver video content that exceeds expectations.
• Manage Projects: Oversee creative requirements, expectations, and deadlines for multiple projects, supporting team members as needed.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in creating social-first motion graphics
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite , including After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Strong knowledge of 2D animation principles and branding
• Experience with digital marketing and social media
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to collaborate and ideate creatively, contributing to the development of new concepts and processes
• Familiarity with post-production workflows and HD codecs
• Comfortable using communication and project management tools (ideally Slack and Monday.com)

Responsibilities:

• Develop motion graphics that capture attention and convey core messaging across creative assets
• Work with the team to create visually striking, high-quality branded content
• Translate brand assets into engaging animations, from ideation to delivery
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring they meet creative standards and deadlines
• Support and mentor junior team members, sharing skills and knowledge
• Help scope projects and provide time estimates to the Studio Manager
• Provide regular project updates to the Accounts team
