My client are growing their UK based team due to demand and are now seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to support a variety of projects within the UK and wider EMEA region.They are open to applications from candidates who are within the Glasgow, London, Manchester, or Birmingham city areas. You would work hybrid with 3 days per week in office, 2 days from home.
This role will give leadership to their global design teams who produce drawings, SLDs, studies, reports and more. As the Principal Electrical Engineer, you will review and manage the overall design activity, interface with clients and keep the delivery schedule on track. Key solutions you will support include: Solar PV and BESS and other renewables, other power generation projects such as Waste-to-Energy plant design, Data Centre design as well as supporting the design of grid level infrastructure.You'll support the solutions with a focus on balance of plant, grid connection, substation design and transmission infrastructure. Your expertise will also inform bids and proposals, as well as the tendering process for EPC contracts. Mentorship and development of their UK based Graduate Electrical Engineers will be a further aspect of the role.
