Accountant/Senior Bookkeeper
Pacific Facility Solutions is now accepting applications for a full-time Accountant/Bookkeeper. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of budgeting, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Working knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and practices, including GAAP
- Manage payroll processing and ensure timely payments to employees.
- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
- Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Evaluate existing accounting systems and processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and accuracy improvements.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes. Work closely with our CPA to resolve any issues related to our books and preparations for tax filings.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Other administrative tasks as may get assigned by the owner.
Qualifications include:
- At least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. An Associate degree and/or relevant experience may be considered.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast pace environment.
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Experience in bookkeeping and tracking of financial transactions.
- Extensive Experience in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,etc..)
- Good organization, scheduling and time management skills.

Pay: $29.00 - $40.00 per hour
