Accounting Manager

We’re looking for an experienced individual to take charge of managing and maintaining our client's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance. We will trust you to:  

• Establish and maintain accounting records in QuickBooks, including setting up the system from the ground up.
• Record and classify accounting transactions accurately.
• Conduct and review bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Review and analyze the trial balance for completeness and correctness.
• Manage billing processes and collaborate with the accounts receivable team to ensure timely collections.
• Oversee and review disbursements and encumbrances to maintain financial control.
• Prepare, monitor, and update budgets to align with organizational objectives.
• Work closely with the auditors

Requirements

• Strong accounting background (minimum 5 years' experience).
• Energetic, active, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience with an accounting firm that provided services to Government is advantageous
• Innovative (recognize opportunities to be more efficient) and take initiative.
• Self-starter and problem-solver
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
