Our client is a large real estate company seeking a Corporate Accountant Manager to lead a Financial Reporting and General Ledger team. This role will be responsible for managing month-end close, journal entries, reviewing reconciliations and fixed assets, A/R, statement activity.

This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity based in Northern VA on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

Manage month-end close activities including accurate and timely processing of journal entries, performing, and reviewing account reconciliations of the balance sheet and all related sub-ledgers.
Responsible for the accurate reporting of financial results including but not limited to quarterly GAAP financials and board reports, in accordance with GAAP and internal policies and controls.
Corporate Accounting Financial Reporting activities while coordinating supporting information systems, policies, procedures, and initiatives with operations and support stakeholders.
Responsible for maintenance of global chart of accounts, ensuring accurate mapping to the financial statement lines, and it evolves as the business grows and changes.
