Accounting Manager

Our client is a large real estate company seeking a Corporate Accountant Manager to lead a Financial Reporting and General Ledger team. This role will be responsible for managing month-end close, journal entries, reviewing reconciliations and fixed assets, A/R, statement activity.

This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity based in Northern VA on a hybrid schedule. 

• Manage month-end close activities including accurate and timely processing of journal entries, performing, and reviewing account reconciliations of the balance sheet and all related sub-ledgers.
• Responsible for the accurate reporting of financial results including but not limited to quarterly GAAP financials and board reports, in accordance with GAAP and internal policies and controls.
• Corporate Accounting Financial Reporting activities while coordinating supporting information systems, policies, procedures, and initiatives with operations and support stakeholders.
• Responsible for maintenance of global chart of accounts, ensuring accurate mapping to the financial statement lines, and it evolves as the business grows and changes.
