Assistant Controller

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller with a strong foundation in technical accounting, financial management, and governmental accounting. Reporting to the Controller, you will play a key role in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance while supporting the division’s strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and reports (balance sheets, income, and cash flow).
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and oversee accounts payable/receivable functions.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Streamline financial processes and contribute to policy development.
• Support accounting systems implementation and maintenance (Epicor preferred).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance; CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficient in GAAP, MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), and financial systems.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Epicor is a plus.
