Job Title: Finance Manager Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (Onsite, Monday–Friday) Experience Level: Mid-Senior Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree Job Function: Finance Industry: Financial Services Relocation Assistance: No Visa Sponsorship Eligibility: No Role Summary: Our client, a leader in the development and operation of renewable and conventional power generation, is seeking a highly motivated onsite Finance Manager to directly support the day-to-day accounting functions of operational and related entities. This role plays a key part in the company’s transition to a sustainable development strategy, focusing on renewable generation, including solar PV, battery storage, and wind. Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Compliance: Review credit agreements, depositary agreements, and other project contracts to ensure compliance with covenants and reporting requirements.
• Meetings & Communication: Organize monthly management meetings and act as a liaison with international equity partners.

* Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and present budgets and ad hoc accounting reports to senior management.
• Generate GAAP financial statements for client entities and maintain partners’ capital accounts in accordance with operating agreements.
• Auditing & Taxation: Work closely with external auditors and tax advisors to generate audited financial statements and tax returns.

* Payments & Treasury Functions:

• Prepare withdrawal certificates and ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Monitor bank accounts with various financial institutions and perform treasury functions for corporate and subsidiaries.

* Forecasting & Credit Management:

• Consolidate subsidiaries’ cash forecasts and process intercompany transfers.
• Manage revolver lines of credit.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience: 5–10 years of accounting or finance experience.

* Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling.

* Soft Skills:

• Strong coordination and organizational skills with attentiveness to deadlines.
• Responsible, dependable, and exceptional work ethic.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
