Job Description

A Kitchen Porter/Dishwasher maintains kitchen cleanliness starting from tasks such as washing all dishes, utensils, and equipment to finishing with polishing all before returning items back into place. They assist with basic food prep, like peeling vegetables, portioning ingredients and labeling all items. They ensure the kitchen is at all times organized and sanitized, handling waste disposal, maintaining trash bins as well as loading dock areas. This role is crucial for supporting the kitchen team and ensuring smooth operations.

Requirements + Certifications:  

• Be on time, ready to work
• Positive team player mentality
• Maintaining standards + R.A.M.P and/or ServSafe Certified

Qualifications:

• Requires strong communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English. Familiarity with our restaurant's mission, software, menu details, and venue layout is essential.
• Willingness to stand for long periods of time
• Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.

Scheduling: 

• Involves constant public contact. Work environment is subject to varying levels of high energy, loud noise, crowds and pace, which depends upon guest volume.
• Work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays , Work may be performed in small areas, inside or outside throughout the year, varying conditions of temperature, lighting and air quality.
