Qualities
- Ensuring that every dish looks and tastes the same consistently is vital for a fine dining setting.
- Communication with the kitchen team, waitstaff, and front-of-house is key to ensuring smooth service. Clear Instruction and the ability to take feedback graciously will help maintain a collaborative and productive environment.
- Teamwork is imperative because of the challenges we face working out of 2 separate kitchens. One must be able to assist your teammates if one falls behind. Since fine dining environments often require collaboration between various chefs and kitchen staff, a line cook must be able to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.

- Kitchen Sanitation: Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and utensils after each use. Ensure that surfaces are regularly wiped down, scratched and polished.
