Job Description:

The Marketing Director will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand, expanding our reach, and growing our membership base. This position offers a unique opportunity to build and lead the marketing function, establishing strategies and systems to support the continued growth of JEM.tv and related products and platforms.

We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual who is highly strategic and creative yet also sensitive to the unique and sacred nature of our mission, demonstrating respect and care in handling content that holds profound spiritual significance. Responsibilities:

• Subscriber Growth: Develop and execute goals to attract new subscribers to JEM.tv. Create and implement innovative marketing and retention strategies to drive membership growth. Collaborate with Technology and Social Media teams to achieve these targets. Manage the writing, sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and other necessary components to support subscriber acquisition.
• Content Promotion: Utilize JEM’s email campaigns, the Living Torah weekly video, social media platforms, and other services to promote upcoming content and enhance subscriber growth. Innovate new advertising methods, such as emails, WhatsApp messages, calls, and promotions, to drive engagement. Work collaboratively across content, technology, strategy, fundraising, and sales to align content promotion efforts with overall goals.
• List Management: Build and maintain an updated contact database (CRM). Analyze lists to ensure targeted communications based on customer interests and demographics. Collaborate with the Admin and Tech departments to optimize segmentation and targeting strategies.
• Customer Satisfaction and Retention: Work closely with JEM’s Development and Content teams to focus on membership retention and growth. Monitor customer activity to identify opportunities for improved satisfaction and retention. Create and implement retention programs to foster long-term engagement. Develop strategies to leverage satisfied members to attract new subscribers.
• Brand Development: Establish and develop the JEM brand, creating a cohesive identity that resonates with the audience and amplifies the organization’s impact.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing, content promotion, and subscriber growth.
• Experience in a leadership or managerial role, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing strategies.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including email, social media, and CRM systems.
• Analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance, audience engagement, and retention strategies.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technology, content, development, and sales teams to align marketing efforts with organizational goals.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• A driven and proactive individual who can take ownership of their work, set goals, and achieve results without constant supervision.
