WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Job Description: As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. In addition to warehouse duties, this role will require hands-on experience in managing delivery operations and a strong understanding of basic mechanical systems for equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving
• Manage a team of warehouse employees, ensuring safety, efficiency, and productivity
• Coordinate and optimize delivery routes and schedules for timely and accurate deliveries to customers
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on warehouse equipment, delivery vehicles, and machinery
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries using warehouse management software
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and train staff on safety protocols
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and meet customer demands

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, Logistics Manager, or similar role
• Strong background in delivery operations and fleet management
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and repair
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Forklift certification (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (REQUIRED)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds)
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
