Work Days: Monday-Friday Shift Start/End Time: 8:00 am-4:30 pm, or 8:30 am-5:00 pm Hours Per Week: 37 Weeks Per Year: 52 adjunct to the Vice President for Admissions, Financial Aid and Enrollment Pay Status and Classification: Non-exempt, Regular Full-Time manager: Vice President for Admissions, Financial Aid and Enrollment Position Purpose: Plans, schedules, and manages meetings, events, and travel for the Vice President for Admissions, Financial Aid and Enrollment. Partners with admissions and financial aid colleagues in executing strategic initiatives. Acts in conformity with Union's core values as defined in the Union College Employee Handbook. Essential Responsibilities and tasks: » Meetings, Events, and Travel: Manages the Vice President's calendar including scheduling meetings. Applies expertise of strategic and tactical objectives, anticipation of logistical and technical capabilities and challenges, and professional skills and intuition to plan, schedule, and manage meetings, events, and travel for the Vice President. Seeks, evaluates, and applies feedback to propose and make improvements. » Event Support: Mobilizes and coordinates with College offices, vendors, and others to plan and manage meetings and events. Partners with Coordinator of Campus Events supporting on-campus and virtual programming. » Guest Services: In rotation, greets Admissions Office guests. Serves as a member of the Reception team. Answers any questions guests may have. » Administrative Tasks: Assists with the creation of letters, agendas, reports, and presentations. Puts in place and drives processes and workflows for the admissions department, including financial transactions and forecasting, procurement of equipment and supplies, and other office and house operations and activities. Pitches-in to help colleagues when it appears needed or is requested.
