Direct Action LLC has been servicing our industry in the US for over 8 years. We are the US distributor of two well known European military/law enforcement/outdoor clothing and apparel brands. We are a fast growing company that is currently focused on ecommerce. In 2018, we moved to a bigger warehouse located in Malta, NY. From this warehouse we serve customers from all over the world. Listing description Looking for hard-working and self-motivated individuals to join our team! »Malta, NY area » $20.00/hr to start with + Benefits » 8:30am-5pm (more flexibility after trial period), Mon-Fri Specific tasks: »Picking and preparing orders (SPD) to be shipped – this includes packing FedEx/USPS shipments, as well as using our computer system to efficiently and accurately ship/process orders. »Receiving shipments (SPD, LCL, FCL) from suppliers following established procedures. »Processing customer returns and restocking »Stocking/replenishing inventory »Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, warehouse aisles and other workstations neat. »Secondary tasks include providing Tier 1(basic) customer service to our current and potential customers. This would include answering phone calls, answering/responding to voicemails, and responding to/communicating with our customers through our customer service system. Qualification General Requirements: »High School diploma or equivalent » 1-2 years previous warehouse practice preferred »Basic customer service practice preferred but not required »Good communication, organizational, time management, problem-solving, mathematical and multitasking expertise is a must. »Having the capability to work in a team and in an "all for one and one for all" environment. »Having good organization expertise. »Being a dependable and responsible person. »Data entry and general computer expertise »Dependable and reliable » practice with freight/small pack shipments preferred, but not required »Being able to manage oneself. »Being able to work independently, without supervision and without being micromanaged. »Assume the responsibility your own tasks and mistakes. »Learning from mistakes. »Taking initiative within assigned areas of responsibility and in general.
