Garage Door & Operator Installer/Repair Technician We are pursuing a full-time installer/service technician for our overhead door business located in Rhinebeck, NY. Responsibilities and tasks include: Completing assigned installations and repair work in a timely and professional manner; consistently follow work safety standards to prevent accidents and property damage; interact well with customers and co-workers, exhibiting a friendly and positive manner; complete required work orders and paperwork related to each job. Qualifications and expertise: Mechanical aptitude, with practice in installing and repairing overhead doors and operators preferred; strong customer service orientation; effective written and verbal communication expertise, with the capability to read product material and complete paperwork; strong work ethic. Working conditions: Regularly works around moving mechanical parts in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.  this job offer requires coordination and stamina, and includes constant bending and lifting of up to 75 lbs., as well as ascending and descending ladders while performing installation and repairs. General Requirements: Clean driving record, must pass DOT physical, OSHA 10 card a plus. Benefits: income commensurate with practice; holidays and vacation paid time off, 401K.
