Training Specialist
Overview
Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Training Specialist. Primary Function: conduct onboarding and function-located training for new and incumbent Credit Union employees. Evaluate participant performance and collaborate with management to develop and implement learning strategies.
Responsibilities
»Conduct onboarding, product, service, technical, and soft-expertise training programs as assigned. »Evaluate on-the-job trainer and trainee performance, communicate findings and collaborate with management to develop and implement learning strategies. »Act as a liaison between Talent Management, On the Job Trainers and Retail/Support Management to assess current training and gather feedback on training needs. »Assess course participants to measure knowledge transfer and the effectiveness of training. Provide findings to and collaborate with Instructional Designer to update/enhance course material(s) as necessary. »Develop a working knowledge and knowledge of products, services, processes and systems to effectively facilitate product, service, technical and soft-expertise training as assigned. »Maintain Talent Management processes, data tracking and reports as assigned. »Assist in the implementation of work plans for new Training Specialists. »Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned. »Embrace and apply HVCU's guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities. This includes the Credit Union's Mission, Vision, Core Values, Employee and Member Value Propositions, Sales and Service Model, and commitment to Lean Six Sigma practices. Support the Credit Union's initiatives by demonstrating teamwork and professionalism. »Responsible for regular and predictable attendance including punctuality.
Qualifications
