Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Painter for our 3rd shift from 11 PM to 7 AM. The position involves the use of various painting equipment and techniques to ensure high-quality finishes on our products.

Responsibilities

• Use liquid paint spray equipment, mix and thin paint, and maintain spray equipment.
• Operate plural component spray equipment to apply below-grade polyurethane and maintain the equipment, similar to truck bedliner applications.
• Perform the deglaring process on galvanized poles by mixing chemical ingredients to proper specifications.
• Use electrostatic powder coating equipment and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of the equipment.
• Utilize measuring devices such as dew point meters, dry film thickness gauges, and surface profile gauges.

Essential Skills

• Experience with sandblasting and painting.
• Proficiency in using and maintaining liquid paint spray equipment.
• Knowledge of plural component spray equipment and electrostatic powder coating equipment.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of painting equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry.
• Proficiency in using various measuring devices related to painting.

Work Environment

This position operates at Level 4 and requires initial training on the day shift from 7 AM to 3 PM before moving to the designated 3rd shift. The starting rate is $27.41 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour shift differential.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.41 - $29.41
