Role Description
We are looking to upscale our companies cuisine to a whole new level and looking for an energetic person to be a leader and coach as a sous, assisting in making the goal of an upscale farm to table catering experience a reality. This is a full-time on-site role for Sous Chef at Feast Your Eyes Catering in Philadelphia, PA. The Sous will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food, as well as overseeing a specific shifts of the kitchen or on events. They need to posses leadership skills to be a head chef on key events and manage shifts. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, advanced problem solving and the ability to work in a fast-paced culinary environment. Looking for someone with a depth of culinary experience that likes to coach and mentor cooks in to becoming chefs. Some concept knowledge of sustainability and farming preferred.
