Moxy St Petersburg has arrived!!! We are looking for experienced, dynamic people to join the opening crew for the Sparrow rooftop lounge of the Moxy St Petersburg Downtown. Sparrow is an upscale intimate urban rooftop designed with adventure in mind. Moxy is a chic, modern, and edgy brand, so we need a like-minded crew for the Sparrow Rooftop Lounge opening in Dec 2024. We are looking for a supervisor who are sophisticated, and fun with experience in upscale settings. Crew member title: Sparrow Supervisor Job Type: Full-time Job Summary The Company operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting and ending times, and hours worked in a week. The Sparrow Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operation behind the bar of the Sparrow Rooftop Bar, while ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to established standards. The Sparrow Rooftop Bar will be managed in partnership with Proprietors LLC and serve as an outlet of The Moxy property available to guests and the public. This position will serve as a liaison between Proprietors LLC and the hotel in ensuring their standards are met as well as those of the hotel brand. This is a tipped position, a hybrid bartending and supervisory role. - Conduct inventories and purchasing as necessary.
- Collaborate with F&B Director on new beverage ideas and specials to drive revenue and buzz about the bar.
- Supervises order taking and delivery to guests in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state and local regulations.
- Supervises guest checks and payment collection in compliance with cash handling, credit card transactions, room charge processing, and accounting policies and procedures.
- Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items and safety hazards to management.
- Reports any deviations from policies, procedures, brand standards and regulations to management.
- Complies with all guest service basics such as uniforms, name tags and proper guest greeting.
- Knowledgeable on hotel facilities and services to assist guests as appropriate.
- Ensures all communication containing Company, hotel, brand and guest information is consistent with privacy policies, practices and regulations.
- Impresses guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner. Must be able to work varying schedules based on business demand.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Participate in task forces and committees as requested.
- Consistent professional and positive attitude and actions when communicating with guests and associates.
- Ensure maintenance problems are promptly reported through proper channels.

Qualifications The Company may consider equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience providing the knowledge, skills and abilities cited below. Education and Experience
- High school diploma/GED.
- Minimum two years of craft cocktail experience.
- Experience in leading a team and executing a beverage program.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.
