Converting Supervisor

What You'll Be Doing:

Conduct safety briefings for crews on the designated shift, ensuring daily, weekly, monthly, and annual compliance. Monitor the workplace safety environment to promptly identify and address any unsafe conditions. Ensure strict adherence to company safety policies, safe work practices, and plant policies. Track and oversee daily production goals for the Converting machines, utilizing Key Performance - Indicators (KPIs) and reporting results on the plant scorecard. Manage workforce planning, including scheduling fulfillment and adherence to attendance policies (vacations, floating days, call-ins, etc.). Effectively communicate with all functional areas of the plant to ensure successful achievement of production needs. Foster positive employee relations, promoting interdepartmental communication and collaboration. Supervise daily production activities, including overseeing team members and monitoring individual performance levels. Participate in and monitor Daily Management Systems (DMS) to track progress against production goals and ensure performance excellence. What You'll Need:

High School diploma or G.E.D. - Required. 3+ years of supervisory or 5 years of team lead experience in a packaging operations facility - Required. Experience with BHS corrugator equipment - Required. Familiarity with Converting Equipment, including Labelers, Rotary Die Cutter, Flatbed Die Cutter, Flexo Folder Gluer, and Folder Gluer.
